                        green coloured seaweed, very rich in minerals, calcium,
                        magnesium and iron. 10 gr of sea lettuce is equivalent
                        to 500 gr of spinach. It contains also vitamin A, C and
                        iode. It is used essentially as human food, in salads,
                        soups, sauces and vinaigrettes, fried in tempura specially
                        in the far east.  |
