For 10 years, Marta Bellocq has been collecting, processing,
pressing and improving her own technique to press and preserve
seaweeds based on traditional methods of botany but also developing
also her own methods to avoid fading and deterioration. She
has done numerous exhibitions in France and Spain
Every work is different and
constitutes an
original model. The design will
be variable even if the same species of seaweed are used. Colors,
forms and sizes depend on season, coast type, water temperature
and sun exposure. |
